We are over the moon to report that KP Snacks has won ‘Supplier of the Year’ in The Grocer magazine's annual Gold Awards (the 'Oscars' of our industry)

KP came top of a category shortlist which included Carlsberg Britvic, Danone UK, Mackle Petfoods and Proper Snacks. To have been recognised in this way amongst a tough field of our peers is an incredible accolade and one we are immensely proud of.

Managing director, Mark Thorpe received the award on behalf of the company. He says, “This is fantastic recognition for KP, our brands and our amazing colleagues. Well done and thank you to all. It is an achievement that everyone across KP Snacks should be proud of, and a very prestigious industry award for our business.”

The Grocer judges said they were impressed by KP as an 'excellent all-round performer,' and for devising individual strategies for each of our brands - "all underpinned by an impressive understanding of consumer and shopper insight."

“KP Snacks is the growth engine of the bagged snacks market… punching well above its weight in terms of adding value, with strong brands playing a vital role in that performance.”

“This customer facing work has been underpinned by efforts behind the scenes to be a responsible, future-proofed business. KP is aiming for 55% of its sales to come from non-HFSS lines by 2030, has brought out recyclable and reduced plastic packaging and runs regenerative agriculture programmes for its UK potato growers."

“On the colleague side, it is supporting its workforce through wellbeing kiosks, recognition and rewards programmes, a DEI strategy and volunteering assistance.  An excellent all-round performer.”
