KP Snacks’ takes prestigious Platinum Award for Excellence in Recycling and Waste Management

KP Snacks has been announced as the winner of the Zero Waste Platinum Award at last week’s (May 1 2014) Awards for Excellence in Waste Management and Recycling.

We achieved zero waste to landfill across all eight KP Snacks sites in the UK in 2012 – a key component being our strategy to boost understanding with site teams of how waste can be prevented.  Workshops, training sessions and poster campaigns have helped to maintain focus on waste initiatives, whilst we have also worked with suppliers to reduce secondary packaging and achieve major reductions in food waste.
