Social

Our social targets

100%

assessed to ethical trade standards

All KP Snacks plants have been audited to the ETI (Ethical Trading Initiative) base code or to the SMETA standard

Volunteering

by KP Snacks colleagues

We support all our colleagues with one paid day off each year so they can volunteer in the community or support a charity of their choice

100%

of short life products to foodbanks

We aim for all our short life products to be diverted to food banks rather than landfill

Taking

social responsibility

in our value chain and communities

KP Snacks has eight UK locations and we’re proud to support many projects to make a difference in our local communities, as well supporting a number of charities nationally. And we source ingredients both from the UK and internationally, so it’s important that we create a positive environment for everyone involved in our supply chain.

Improving

livelihoods

We are committed to continually improving working conditions in our supply chains. Through dialogue and audits, we assess any issues or risks. We work with our suppliers, partners and multi-stakeholder initiatives to improve working conditions, crop yields, product quality and the livelihoods of farmers in our supply chains*.

Supporting

Local communities

Each year, colleagues at each KP Snacks location select a charity or community partner to be the focus of the site's fundraising efforts during the year.
