McCoy’s Fire Pit wins Product Launch of the Year
Against some tough competition, McCoy's Fire Pit triumphed at the Retail Industry Awards this week, winning Product Launch of the Year in the Crisps and Snacks category.
The UK’s number one ridged crisp brand, McCoy’s, launched the Fire Pit range earlier this year. It was inspired by the rustic flavours of cooking meat over an open fire and created with the help of top chefs, to successfully recreate some of the the smoky, chargrilled flavours that result from this slow and delicate process. Fire Pit has three flavours: Flame Roasted Peri Peri, Flame Smoked Chorizo and Flame Scorched BBQ Ribs.

The Retail Industry Awards are “a celebration of all that is great about the UK grocery retail sector” and were hosted at The Brewery in London on 21 September 2021. The winners of the various categories are all chosen by independent convenience retailers, based on products that have performed best in their stores over the past 12 months, been popular with shoppers or simply those that retailers have found the most innovative.
