Awarded Gold for Green Supplier at FWD Gold Medal Awards

We’re delighted to have been awarded Gold for Green Supplier at this year’s FWD Gold Medal Awards, in recognition of our work to reduce our impact on the environment in a number of areas including the reduction of carbon, water, energy, packaging and driving down our waste.

John Baines, Trading Director at Unitas Wholesale said, “At Unitas we have been impressed by KP Snacks’ approach to their sustainable agenda. Their Taste for Good programme is market-leading, in particular their pacKPromise initiative which has three key attributes:

1. To use less packaging
2. Encourage recycling of used packets through TerraCycle
3. KP Snacks commitment to ensure all plastics packaging is fully recyclable by 2025

Not only that, but their account managers are actively engaged in raising the green agenda with central office and members alike and not just paying lip service to it. We look forward to seeing the continual development in this area from KP and support this strategy. Well done KP!”
